My name is Bob Stuntz.  I completed my Emergency Medicine Residency and an EUS Fellowship at Wellspan York Hospital (check us out) .  I am ABEM Certified in EM.  I am the Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency, as well as the former Director of the Resident and Medical Student Emergency Ultrasound Program, at Wellspan York Hospital in York, PA (check us out).  I am also the Secretary/Treasurer of the AAEM YPS, and chair of the AAEM Social media Committee. 

My main interests are Emergency Ultrasound, resident education, and technology, especially as it relates to resident education and the EHR.

What Is The EM Res Podcast? 

This page is intended as an educational resource for emergency medicine residents, emergency practitioners, and anyone who is responsible for educating EM Residents.  Our goal is to help you make it through residency, while building a solid foundation of EM Core Content knowledge.

Krystle Shafer, MD is an EM-3 at Wellspan York Hospital’s EMRP in York, PA.  She went to University of Maryland (just like me, fear the Turtle!) for medical school.  She is one of our chief residents for the 2014-15 academic year.  She will be spending the next two years doing a critical care fellowship at Pitt.  She has a tremendous interest in critical care and simulation.

Bryan Wexler, MD completed a Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management fellowship at UMASS.  He is our disaster medicine guru at Wellspan York Hospital, and is also known far and wide as the most interesting man in the world.

Michael Bohrn, MD is the Program Director of the Wellspan York Hospital EM Residency.  He is an EKG guru, and highly knowledgeable when it comes to matters of charting.  He has been the multiple time teacher of the year at our residency.  Follow him on twitter: @bohrnma for EKG tips, and @bohrn4EM for charting/coding pearls.
